Turn your old internal hard drive into a secure external hard drive with Verbatim's Secure Desktop Hard Drive Enclosure Kit. The kit contains everything you need to convert a standard 3.5" internal SATA hard drive into your very own encrypted external hard drive.

The Secure Desktop Enclosure Kit with Keypad Access comes with AES 256-bit hardware encryption and a built-in keypad for secure passcode input.

Easy assembly: Simply slide open the rear compartment, insert your SATA 3.5" hard drive and replace the rear cover. The hard drive is now ready for use.

As the hard drive will need to be reformatted on first use, files already on the hard drive will need to be moved onto a PC before inserting the hard drive into the enclosure kit to avoid data loss. These files can be resaved onto the hard drive as required. After formatting, all files saved on the hard drive will be encrypted.
