AXIS Q3505-VE is a high-performance, vandal-resistant andoutdoor-ready fixed dome for high-security applications. The camerais available with a wide-angle or telephoto lens. It delivers HDTV1080p video at up to 60 frames per second, providing smooth videoeven when capturing fast movements.

The cameras Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) Forensic Capture capabilityprovides perfectly balanced video quality in scenes with strongvariations in light, while the Lightfinder technology enablesoutstanding image usability in poor light. The camera canseamlessly transition between handling WDR and low-lightconditions. AXIS Q3505-VE also supports Axis Electronic ImageStabilization (EIS), which greatly improves video quality insituations where the camera is subject to vibration.

Furthermore, the camera supports barrel distortion correctionand includes optical zoom that can be used when monitoring a scene. When using the optical zoom for monitoring, an operator can zoom inon an object, or the camera can zoom in automatically when theGatekeeper functionality is applied.

The outdoor-ready AXIS Q3505-VE is specially designed for reliable, weatherproof and vandal-resistant installation. The camera canoperate in a wide temperature range, from -40 C to 60 C (-40 F to140 F). The cameras IK10+ rating ensures that it can withstand aminimum of 50 joules of impact. If the camera is hit, the shockdetection capability can send an alarm to alert an operator. Aweather shield is included for effective protection againstreflections from sunlight, rain or build-ups of snow.

The cameras versatile cable management features service loopspace and optional connection to any type of conduit. AXIS Q3505-VEincludes a mounting bracket for mounting on junction boxes ordirectly on walls or ceilings, and supports accessories forrecessed mounting or mounting on pendants. The remote zoom andfocus capability provides convenient zooming and focusing over thenetwork, eliminating the need for hands-on fine-tuning. The camerasleveling assistant and autorotation aids are useful at installationto ensure horizontally aligned and correctly rotated imageswherever or however the cameras are mounted.
