AXIS Q1932-E cameras offer an improved thermal imaging contrast, keeping the noise levels low at the same time as no details ortemperature information are lost. The scene is easier tounderstand; surroundings are recognizable, and objects, accidentsor people are identifiable.

Intelligent video applications
AXIS Q1932-E supports intelligent video applications, such as AXISCross Line Detection license and AXIS Video Motion Detection 2.1which are included. The thermal camera can complement any IPsurveillance system being the first to detect accidents and sendingnotification to another network camera.

Based on the alarm trigger, a PTZ network camera can be re-directedto the point of interest. With a resolution of 640x480 pixels, AXISQ1932-E can optimize detection performance to meet most applicationrequirements. Since thermal cameras are less sensitive to problemswith light conditions and shadows, they can achieve higher accuracyand less false alarms than conventional cameras in mostapplications.

Versatile, outdoor video surveillance
AXIS Q1932E PT Mount is a bullet-style outdoor-ready model that isspecifically designed to be mounted on pan-tilt motors. This allowsthe camera to cover larger areas and also gives the option ofdirecting the camera upwards. The thermal camera includes a serialport for RS422/RS485 communication with pan-tilt motors. (Pan-tiltmotor not included). It comes with a built-in heater for thewindow. The camera is further protected with shock detection, acapability that sends an alarm to personnel during attemptedvandalism.
