Installed in a standard 5.25inch PCbay, the Forensic LabDock S5 gives convenient, front-panel accessto suspect hard drives. Write-blocking is done in hardware, withproven WiebeTech write-blocking technology.

Forensic LabDock S5 offers native connections for the most commondrives types, such as SATA and IDE/PATA. Optional SATA and PATAAdapters are available that allow access to many additional typesof drives such as ZIF drives, notebook drives, drives found iniPods, and more. With the use of a CRU RedPort card, the ForensicLabDock S5 will have write-blocked front panel SAS drive access aswell. A bundle configuration is available that includes theForensic LabDock S5, RedPort card, and cable.

Do you know what could be lurking in the hidden areas of a harddrive? HPA (Host Protected Areas) or DCO (Device ConfigurationOverlays) can exist on hard drives, which are not detected oraccessible by your operating system.
