The GY-HM170 is a fully functional high performance 4K Ultra HDcamcorder that equally capable of shooting 4:2:2 Full HD at50Mbps. Its integrated 12x optical zoom lens and 4K CMOS sensor, deliver razor sharp 4K Ultra HD recordings directly to SDHC/SDXCmemory cards. It can even record on 2 cards simultaneously forinstant backup or extended recording time. Output live 4K UHDcamera signals through the built-in HDMI connector. And its tinysize allows you to shoot in venues that may be unfriendly to largercameras.

Ultra high quality imagery begins with a precision 12x F1.2-3.5optical zoom lens (35mm equivalent: 29.5-354mm). JVC 4K CMOSsensor with 12.4M pixels delivers high sensitivity and excellentperformance over a wide range of lighting conditions. Details arecrisp and accurate throughout the entire image plane. When shootingin the HD mode, Dynamic Zoom combines optical zoom and pixelmapping to create seamless and lossless 24x zoom. This allows thecamera to have a long zoom range while retaining its small formfactor. Shooters will also appreciate the convenient ND filterwheel: 0, 1/4th and 1/16th positions.
